The biggest change for me has been my mindset and attitude. 

At the beginning, all the changes felt small and subtle—sometimes I didn’t even notice them. But looking back now, I can see how each of those small steps was a building block. They've completely transformed the way I think about food and exercise. It’s like I’ve got a whole new mindset.

The biggest shift for me has been on the mental side. I’ve learned to appreciate food more and to eat when I need to, not just when I want to. This has really helped me avoid overeating and has changed my relationship with food for the better.

Starting with just focusing on my diet was key. It took the pressure off having to manage both diet and exercise at the same time, which used to overwhelm me. In the past, I’d slip up and think, ‘Well, I’ve messed up now, might as well go all out with McDonald’s and sweets and start fresh on Monday.’ But that never led to real progress—I was just stuck in this endless cycle.

Now, I see that a small slip-up isn’t the end of the world. It’s just part of the process. With the support and guidance I’ve gotten from coaching, I’ve learned to keep moving forward, even if I have a bar of chocolate or a packet of crisps. It’s made a world of difference for me.

I’ve been working with Shaun for just under a year, and it’s made such a positive impact on my life.

 

I've completely shifted my mindset and attitude toward training, which has helped me not just physically, but mentally too. I’ve always enjoyed working out and going to the gym, but over the past year, with Shaun’s help, I’ve become fitter and stronger than I ever could have on my own.

One of the biggest changes has been the consistency in my training. Shaun developed a plan that I’ve actually been able to stick with, which was always a struggle for me before. He’s constantly checking in, making sure the training fits into my daily and weekly schedule, and adjusting things when needed. That flexibility has been a game-changer.

Shaun is also great at answering any questions or addressing any worries I’ve had about training, which has really put my mind at ease. Since working with him, not only has my physical health improved, but I’ve also felt a lot less pressure when it comes to gym sessions. This has had a hugely positive impact on my mental health.

Now, I’m so much more comfortable in the gym. Having a training plan that’s tailored to my fitness goals has helped me let go of that ‘gym anxiety’ I used to feel. I can’t thank Shaun enough for the difference he’s made. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking to gain consistency in their training, improve their overall health and well-being, and just feel happier within themselves.
